Ironically, this is how we all feel sometimes with our troubles…people just don’t seem to hear us because most of the time they’re just not listening…

You see, my partner suffers from MS….and it is beginning to reach a critical stage…the one that is taking away more than half of my partner’s leg strength. It has rendered our home somewhat useless at this point because there are som very many stairs…so we thought we would move to our rental cottage….and fix that up. The trouble is, it puts us too far away from my parents, who have moved 8 hours to be near us as their caretakers in their retirement years….

The issue is water….

We are lucky…or blessed by the universe enough to live on a lake…that same lake divides our parents from us if we go to the cottage…and puts us too far away from medical attention in the event of an emergency…

Selling the big house has been a proposed solution for a long time…despite the real estate crisis, raw lakefront land here is over a half million $ for just a lot now….and ironically, homes are not going for as much as they are being taxed at, and raw land is at an all time high.

The setting at the cottage is healing for my partner but too remote for modern conveniences….

I was hoping that If I can let go of both properties, you would consider helping me find a place on the “right side” of the lake near our parents and emergency services that would help my partner to heal!

Will You Please Help Me Intend It??

I’ve about driven myself nuts trying to work the numbers and the logistics and I would love to have the universe’s blessing to “let go” and find a third property that would work on all levels for all of the people that touch our lives…

Incidentally, my partner finds sunsets and water very healing from a meditative state…and I would love to come home one day, and say “Honey, Your Wish is My Command”!

I’m reminded of a woman named Patti who just recently lost her husband [Lee]….but she is so strong in her faith and in the universe that she has has been nothing but phenomenal since his passing. She has an unwavering “Attitude of Gratitude”.

Several years back, Patti decided to show her gratitude for every person that she meets, and I mean EVERY PERSON!    So, one of the first questions she manages to squeak into a conversation is “when’s your birthday?”. I know that sounds funny, but then, Patti systematically finds out where you live and sends you a birthday card…not just that year, but for the rest of your life. She wants EVERYONE to feel special….especially on their “special day”.

Well….today is my birthday, and so before walking to my mailbox I concentrated on  ”expecting checks in the mail”, and I was not disappointed….I opened my mailbox….and there was my tax return check…and like clockwork, a birthday card from Patti…with a message of hope and abundance!

Many people wondered whether or not Patti would lose her faith, or her drive to send birthday cards after the sudden passing of her husband…be she did not. Incidentally, Patti sends out over a thousand birthday cards, each year, out of her own pocket and hand writes each and every one…

I just wanted to say, that I am grateful to all of the “Pattis” out there that have found a unique way to truly make a difference in this world!

It’s the thought that counts…..and thoughts are things….really wonderful things!
